The Science Departments of Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University successfully conducted the Basic Scientific Research (BSR) Presentation 2026 for Science students from 6th to 9th January, 2026.
The programme aimed to promote scientific inquiry, research aptitude, and experiential learning among undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Students from various science departments actively participated in well-organized sessions. The research presentations covered a wide range of contemporary scientific themes, including Artificial Intelligence, Mathematical & Statistical Modelling in Science, Biotechnology-based healthcare solutions, Microplastic biodegradation, Sustainable and Green technologies, Data-driven scientific applications, Computational and In-Silico Biological Research, Emerging Technologies, and Applied Sciences.
The presentations were evaluated by subject experts, who provided valuable academic feedback and research guidance. The selected research papers will be published in the IRIS Journal of Patna Women’s College, offering students meaningful exposure to scientific writing and peer-reviewed publication.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Shobha Shrivastava, Dean, Faculty of Science and BSR Coordinator, reflecting the College’s strong commitment to fostering a vibrant research culture and developing future-ready science scholars.
