An educational industrial visit was organized by Department of Commerce Professional on 7 March 2026 (Saturday) to Muneshwari Agro Pvt. Ltd. located at Dohra for the students of Semester VI, B.Com (Hons.) Commerce Professional. During the visit, students were introduced to the complete manufacturing process of dairy products. In addition, the students were informed about the regulatory and statutory authorities whose guidelines must be followed by dairy manufacturing organizations. The officials highlighted the role of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) in ensuring food safety standards, along with the importance of licensing, quality control measures, and compliance with food safety regulations in the dairy industry.
The visit proved to be an enriching and informative experience for the students as it helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical industry practices.
