The Departments of Data Science & Analytics and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML) jointly organized an engaging AI Quiz Competition titled “AI Brain Blitz” as part of Vigyan Utsav 2026. The event was held on 26 February 2026 at 1:30 PM in the Data Science Lecture Room, MCA Block (2nd Floor).
The competition aimed to enhance students’ knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and its real-world applications, while fostering a spirit of healthy competition and collaborative learning.
Event Highlights
- The competition was gracefully anchored by Aqsa Shamshir Khan and Tanya Sahay (Semester IV, DS&A), whose confident presentation and vibrant energy kept the audience captivated.
- The role of Quiz Master was excellently handled by Nida Fatima (Semester II, DS&A), whose well-structured questions and smooth coordination ensured the seamless flow of all six rounds.
- A total of 16 teams registered, with 12 teams participating. After the prelims, six teams advanced to the finals:

- Team 9 – BlitzMaster
- Team 11 – GEMx
- Team 15 – BrainWare
- Team 16 – BinaryBrains

The event was judged by Miss Sushmita Chakraborty (Coordinator, PGDCA & Assistant Professor, Dept. of MCA) and Ms Manisha Prasad (Head, Dept. of Computer Applications).

Conclusion
The AI Brain Blitz was a grand success, seamlessly combining learning with competition. It not only spread awareness about Artificial Intelligence among students but also added an engaging and informative dimension to Vigyan Utsav 2026.
