Fashion Portfolio and insights for Career Advancement

The Department of Fashion Designing, Patna women’s college,Autonomous organised an expert lecture on the topic “Fashion Portfolio and insights for Career Advancement”featuring distinguished guest speaker Mr. Abbhijit Anand, a Fashion Stylist and Design Curator from Mumbai. The lecture was organized to provide students with a deeper understanding of the fashion industry’s Competitive landscape. Mr Anand’s session highlighted the crucial role of a well-curated portfolio, describing,it as an important tool to showcasing creativity, skill and professionalism. He shared invaluable insights into what industry professionals look for and provided practical strategies for students to create a portfolio that stands out. With over 15 years of diverse industrial and technical experience, Mr. Anand brought a wealth of knowledge to the students.
The program was successfully conducted under the guidance of the HOD of the department Dr. Shemoshi Madhu and Coordinator Ms Geetanjali Choudhary.All faculty members of the Department Ms Asha Pandey,Ms Priyanka Singh,Dr Purnima Roy and Ms Vandana Sinha were present in the season. The program was attended by all the students of BAFD semester one and three as well as postgraduate diploma students.
The event was a significant opportunity for students to learn from a seasoned industry professional and gain a clear vision for their career paths.
