On 28th July, 2025, the Department of Social Work welcomed the new batch of 2025-2027 with a warm fresher day celebration. The program commenced with a variety of cultural performances that lit up the stage- from soulful songs to energetic dances to thought- provoking skits and poems. The enthusiasm of the freshers was met with the equal zest by the senior batch fostering a sense of inclusion and camaraderie. One of the most awaited events was Miss Fresher contest where the students participated with great enthusiasm showcasing their talents, Nabila Rabbani was crowned Miss Fresher by the esteemed guests Dr. Vinita Priyadarshi, Head Department of Political Science and Ms. Anisha, Assistant Professor, Department of English amidst cheers and applause. The event concluded with a note of gratitude by Dr. Mridul Mishra, Head, Department of Social Work. Faculty members Sr Sanjana A.C and Ms. Amrita Ashish were also present.
