His poetry not only explores the theme of love in its various shades but also reflects a humanistic outlook, making him a unique voice among modern Urdu poets.Students of the department enthusiastically recited Jigar’s famous ghazals, paying tribute to his legacy. They expressed how Jigar’s poetry continues to inspire generations with its melodious rhythm and soulful imagery.Addressing the gathering, the Head of the Department Dr reyaz ahmadd and Dr Tahera Anjum emarked that Jigar Moradabadi’s poetry is a timeless treasure of Urdu literature, combining romance with philosophy and passion with faith. He reminded the students that studying poets like Jigar keeps us connected to the rich cultural and literary traditions of urdu.
