On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, celebrated as National Youth Day, the Department of Philosophy, Patna Women’s College organized an Essay Competition on the topic “Vivekananda’s Ideas as a Solution to Present Environmental Problems.” Students from B.A. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year actively participated.
The winners were Vaidehi Anand (1st Prize), Shazia Perween (2nd Prize), and Richa Bharti (3rd Prize). The essays were evaluated on originality, clarity, and philosophical understanding.
The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Keerti Choudhary, Head of the Department, along with faculty members Dr. Kamalendra, Dr. Richa, and Ms. Sonam. The competition concluded successfully, inspiring students and honoring Swami Vivekananda’s legacy.
