To Celebrate National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Patna Women’s College organized an Online Pledge Campaign on the theme “Staying safe on Social Media: Do’s and Don’ts” to promote safe and responsible use of the internet among students. The campaign aimed to educate young minds about the growing risks of the digital world and the importance of adopting safe online practices.
During the campaign, volunteers highlighted essential aspects of cyber safety — including protection of personal data, password security, identifying online scams, and the ethical use of social media. The importance of “Think before you click” and “Share with care” was strongly emphasized through interactive discussions.
