Poetic Storytelling Competition

Poesis, the Poetry Club, Patna Women’s College, organised “FeelRoom”, a Poetic Storytelling Competition on 26th February 2026. The event celebrated the art of weaving emotions into words, offering a platform for young poets and storytellers to express their creativity and depth of feeling.

A total of 14 participants took part in the competition, each presenting heartfelt and compelling performances that explored themes of identity, resilience, love, vulnerability, and self-discovery. The event witnessed an engaging audience and a vibrant literary atmosphere.

The esteemed judges for the event were Dr. Zareen Fatima, Head, Department of Economics, and Ms. Anisha Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of English.
Their thoughtful observations and constructive feedback enriched the experience for all participants.

The first Position was secured by Shalini Singh from the Department of Hindi, while the second position was bagged by Uzma Marium from the Department of English and the third position was jointly shared by Avantika from the Department of English and Safia Naaz from the Department of Psychology.

The programme was moderated by Shrestha Narayan, Student Coordinator of Poesis, who ensured the smooth conduct of the event. The session concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Stuti Lal of MA Semester II, Department of English, who expressed her sincere gratitude to the judges, participants, organisers, and attendees.

“FeelRoom” stood as a testament to the vibrant literary spirit of Patna Women’s College, reaffirming the commitment of Poesis to nurture creativity and provide meaningful platform for poetic expression.
