Runway Show in a “Bihar Photo Video Expo – 2025”

The Department of Fashion Designing, Patna Women’s College, autonomous participated in a runway Fashion event organised by “Bihar Photo Video Expo” at Gyan Bhawan, Gandhi Maidan, Patna on 12th and 13th October, 2025.
Fifty-three students of BAFD Semester – I, Semester – II and PG diploma, Fashion Designing Dept. participated in attractive and vibrant dresses on this dynamic runway platform. They showcased their creative collections in many rounds.
In the first round, showcased creative dresses designed around the iconic handloom ‘Gamchha’ of Bihar, highlighting its adaptability in contemporary fashion. They also presented an impressive collection of contemporary designs blended with traditional aesthetics.
The ramp walk was executed under the guidance of the HOD Department of Fashion Designing, Dr Shemushi Madhu, and Coordinator Ms Geetanjali Choudhary. The creative and technical part of this show was ensured by faculty member Ms Asha Pandey. The creative brilliance of Ms Asha Pandey and the hard work with design sensibilities of students made the programme a grand success.
The runway was a vibrant display of innovative garments, meticulous craftsmanship and diverse inspirations.
The event provided students with a good exposure to the Fashion world and an invaluable experience of staging a professional fashion show.
