SnehAI sensitization programme

NSS Unit of Patna Women’s College organized a SnehAI sensitization programme at B.J. Sullivan Hall, dated 29.08.2025, Time: 10:00 am- 12:00 pm to introduce the SnehaAI Bot App, an innovative digital tool designed to provide safe, reliable, and youth-friendly guidance on issues that many young people often hesitant to discuss openly.
Dr. Jyoti Chandra, NSS Programme Officer welcomed the gathering.
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Shri Vaibhav Chaudhary, IAS, Project Director, Bihar State AIDS Control Society (BSACS). He encouraged students to embrace technology responsibly and highlighted the importance of building digital awareness in today’s world. Guests of honour included Mr. Vinay Kumar, Regional Director, NSS, Patna and Mr. Alok Kr. Singh, Assistant Director-Youth, BSACS, who both underlined the role of youth in spreading cyber safety awareness.
The sessions were facilitated by experts from Population Foundation of India (PFI): Mr. Tejwinder Singh Anand, Mr. Souvik Bandhapadhyay, and Mr. Nilanshu Kumar, along with NSS Program Officers Dr. Brahma Nand and Dr. Jyoti Chandra NSS Programme Officers of Patna Women’s College. The event was moderated by Megha Kumari, Joint Environment and Discipline Secretary, Student Council 2025-26.

Through interactive discussions and short films, students explored topics such as cyberbullying, cyber grooming, online scams, password safety, and the importance of verifying secure websites before usage.
The highlight of the event was the introduction of the SnehaAI Bot.
Students enthusiastically engaged with the app, shared feedback for improvement, and expressed appreciation for this youth-centric initiative.
The orientation concluded with an interactive Q&A session, leaving students better equipped to navigate the digital world with confidence and safety.
