Tele-MANAS Outreach Programme

The NSS Unit of Patna Women’s College organized a Tele-MANAS Outreach Programme on 14th October 2025 in the Science Block from 12 noon. The event aimed to promote awareness around the TeleMANAS helpline among adolescents and youth.
The session was graced by eminent team from the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW): Dr. Meerambika Mahapatro, Professor & Head; Dr. Geetanjali Singh, CMO; Dr. Vaishali, Assistant Research Officer; and Ms. Preeti Bajpai, State Mental Health Consultant, NMHP, SHSB and Ms Deepika Kumari, Population foundation of India. The team visited Sehat Kendra of Patna Women’s College and also shared their valuable insights on the importance of mental well-being, the role of teleMANAS services and to balanced lifestyle for holistic health.
The officials were highly impressed with the experience and appreciated the efforts of Sehat Kendra in Bihar for promoting awareness on mental health and other health issues.
