A workshop on Self-Esteem was conducted for students over three days, covering different departments. On 23rd February, the session was attended by the students of Psychology, on 25th February, it was attended by the students of Hindi Department, and on 27th February, the participants were from the Department of English. On 6th of March, it was attended by the students of the Department of Political Science. The programme began with a self-assessment activity that encouraged students to reflect on how they view themselves and recognise their own strengths and areas of growth.
The session highlighted the signs and causes of low self-esteem, including negative self-talk and comparison, and concluded with practical ways to regulate and build healthier self-belief through tasks like mirror activity, journaling and daily affirmations.
This interactive session was conducted by Ms. Manisha Kumari and witnessed active participation from students, making the session lively and impactful. The sessions are planned with every Department of the College.
