On August 22nd, 2026 Department of Physics, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University, organised a 3-day COSMOS QUEST 3.0 on the occasion of National Space Day, from 19th–22nd August 2026. The theme of the event was “India’s Space Journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047.”
As part of the event, a Short Video Competition was organised on the topic “Beyond Earth: Exploring the Universe, Space Missions and Our Cosmic Future” and “Women in Space Science: India’s Future in Space.”A total of 8 groups participated in the competition. Asfiya Fatma and Kriti verma from PWC secured the First Position ,Vinay kumar and Ravi Kishan from BN College secured the Second Position, and Shubhangini Ranjan and Abhilasha kumari from Zoology , PWC secured the Third Position. The students participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their knowledge and interest in space science.
The competition was judged by Ms. Roma, Head, Department of Mass Communication and Ms. Poonam Abraham Lakra, Head, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Riekshika Sanwari, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics and Head of the Department. All the faculty members were present in the event. It concluded with a Vote of Thanks.
