The Department of Economics, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous) organized a series of activities in the observance of Anti- Ragging week from 12th to 14th August,2025. On 12th August, 2025,a documentary highlighting the ill effects of ragging was screened for the students of UG ( Semester I, III and V) and PG Semester I. The documentary also provided insights into various laws and regulations implemented to prevent and address the incidents of ragging. On 13th August 2025, a slogan writing competition was organised in which the students from all the semesters participated enthusiastically. The winners of the competition are as follows:
• 1st Prize : Shrutika (Sem 5)
• 2nd Prize :Shruti ( Sem1)
• 3rd Prize :Vidhya ( Sem 3 ) and Aditi ( PG – Sem 1)
All the students of UG ( Semester I ) and PG ( Semester I ) filled an affidavit form on 14th August, 2025, affirming their commitment to uphold a ragging- free campus environment.
