Season of Creation 2025

On 8th September 2025, Patna Women’s College inaugurated the Season of Creation 2025 with its first event, Nature’s Corner Evaluation, organized by the Srishti Environment Club and Department of Geography. Observed globally, the Season of Creation runs from 1 September to 4 October 2025, with this year’s theme “Peace with Creation” highlighting the hope that creation will truly find peace when justice is restored. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Amrita Chowdhury, Head, Department of Geography, encouraged students to nurture sustainability through small yet meaningful efforts and to participate wholeheartedly in building eco-friendly spaces.
The Best Nature’s Corner Award was won by the Department of Fashion Designing, followed by the Department of Social Work (2nd Prize) and the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (3rd Prize). The Department of Geography received the Consolation Prize. Around 250 students, including members of the Srishti Environment Club and class representatives of all departments, enthusiastically participated. It concluded with the launch of the 3rd Cycle of Nature’s Corner, reaffirming the college’s commitment to ecological awareness and sustainability. The event was coordinated by Ms. Meenakshi Mishra, Coordinator, Srishti Environment Club and Assistant Professor, Department of Geography.
