On 9th September 2025, the Department of Social Work, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University, under its ‘P.A.C.E’ (Personal Advancement and Career Enhancement) Programme, organized an awareness generation session on “Health and Nutrition” at Adalat Ganj, the adopted slum.
The session aimed at sensitizing the community, particularly women and adolescent girls, about the vital role of balanced nutrition and healthy practices in their everyday lives. The student participants actively engaged with the community, emphasizing how good health and proper nutrition can significantly improve quality of life and empower individuals.
The programme was effectively coordinated by Dr. Mridul Mishra, Head, Department of Social Work, in the presence of all the faculty members of the department Sr. Sanjana A.C, Ms. Amrita Ashish and Mr. Chandramani Piyush.
