Power Point Presentation Competition

On 16th September 2025, the Srishti Environment Club in collaboration with the Department of Geography, Patna Women’s College, organized a PowerPoint Presentation Competition on the theme “From Science to Global Action: National and Regional Initiatives” as part of the ongoing observance of the Season of Creation 2025. The event was also held to mark World Ozone Day 2025, celebrated globally to reaffirm the importance of safeguarding the ozone layer.A total of ten groups participated, presenting innovative ideas on climate change mitigation, sustainability, and technology-driven solutions. The program commenced with the Srishti Anthem, followed by a welcome and address by Dr. Amrita Chowdhury, Head, Department of Geography. In her thought-provoking words, she highlighted the significance of World Ozone Day and emphasized the urgent need for collective mitigation strategies to reduce ozone depletion.
The esteemed panel of judges included Dr. Urvashi Sinha, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany; Ms. Poonam A. Lakra, Head, Department of AI and ML; and Dr. Aishwarya Raj, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography. The winners were Ms. Shuchita Shyama and Ms. Vaidehi Dayal (Department of English – 1st Prize), Ms. Vaishnavi Prakash and Ms. Insiya Imam (Department of Political Science – 2nd Prize), and Ms. Megha Jha and Ms. Rishita Arya (Department of Zoology – 3rd Prize).All faculty members of the Department of Geography graced the occasion, motivating students with their presence. The event was coordinated by Ms. Meenakshi Mishra, Coordinator, Srishti Environment Club, and concluded with appreciation for all participants who showcased their vision for transforming science into impactful action.
