On 14th September 2025, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University, was proudly recognized at the 8th Edition of the Bihar Chhatra Sansad, held at A.N. College Auditorium, Patna. The event, themed “Creating a Brighter Bihar through Youth Sustainability,” celebrated outstanding contributions to youth empowerment and social outreach.A memento of appreciation and recognition was awarded by Shri Vikas Vaibhav, IPS, Inspector General of Police and Advisor, Bihar State Planning Board, to Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., Principal, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University. The Department of Social Work was collectively recognized for its continued engagement in impactful outreach activities under the P.A.C.E. (Personal Advancement and Career Enhancement) Programme. The students along with the faculties Ms. Amrita Ashish and Mr. Chandramani Piyush and Dr. Mridul Mishra were awarded certificates of appreciation for their commitment and active participation in social initiatives.Dr. Mridul Mishra, Head, Department of Social Work, was also felicitated with a memento of appreciation by Shri Nitin Nabin, Hon’ble Minister of Road Construction, Government of Bihar, in recognition of her leadership and valuable contribution to outreach activities.The event was graced by dignitaries like Shri Nitin Nabin, Hon’ble Minister of Road Construction, Government of Bihar; Ms. Shambhavi Chaudhary, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha; Shri Vikas Vaibhav, IPS, Inspector General of Police and Advisor, Bihar State Planning Board; Maulana Kalbe Rushaid Rizwi, Patron, Biha Chhatra Sansad; and others. This whole event was managed by Mr. Ankit Kumar, Founder, Bihar Chhatra Sansad.
