Nutri Quiz Competition 2025
The Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics and Department of Home Science successfully organized Nutri Quiz Competition on the occasion of national nutrition month on 18th September 2025 at B.J. Sullivan Hall from 11am to 12noon. The program aimed to promote nutrition awareness, encourage healthy eating practices, and enhance knowledge about diet, health, and wellness among participants.
Teachers from different departments of the college participated in the quiz and total number of teams were 11. The programme commenced with the explanation of rules and structure of the Nutri Quiz competition to the participants. The quiz was structured into four interactive rounds. Round 1 focused on general nutrition knowledge, round 2 covered questions from basic nutrition, round 3 was ‘Arrange me’ to make sentence and round 4 visual round with images to identify words related to diet and food. Additional round for the audience was also conducted to maintain an active involvement.
The participants showcased excellent enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the competition. The visual round was particularly engaging, as participants (teachers) identified words with excitement. At the end of the quiz, results were announced, and prizes were distributed to the winning teams and participation were awarded to all contestants, encouraging them to continue healthy eating practices.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Vishnu Priya, Assistant Professor, Department of Home Science. The event was organized under the supervision and support of Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C., Head, Department of Home Science and was coordinated by Dr. Supriya, Assistant Professor, Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. The event successfully created health and nutrition awareness among teachers and students.

Second Position (Group J): Dr. Priyadarshini Singh and Ms. Shahli Tabassum, Assistant Professor, Department of Data Science and Analytics
Third Position (Group D): Ms. Kamaljeet Kaur and Dr. Zareen Fatima, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics
