Report on Sports Trip to Moin-ul-Haq Stadium, Sports Authority of India (SAI)

On 24th September 2025, the students of MDC Semester 3, Patna Women’s College, from different departments, participated in the first day of a two-day sports trip organized at Moin-ul-Haq Stadium, Sports Authority of India (SAI), Patna, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A total of 17 students attended this trip, accompanied by our respected faculty members, Mr. Lalit Kumar Mishra and Mr. Dharmendra Ray from the Physics Department.

Upon our arrival, we received a warm welcome from Somesh Sir, who introduced us to the program and briefed us about the sessions planned for the day. Three professional coaches trained and guided us, making the experience enriching and interactive.

1. Mr. Kundan Kumar – Chief Coach, BYSA
He delivered an insightful session on Yoga. He explained various asanas and pranayama techniques, highlighting their physical, mental, and emotional benefits. The session was a blend of both theoretical knowledge and practical demonstration, as we actively performed yoga under his guidance.

2. Ms. Isha Mishra – Wushu Coach
She introduced us to the world of Wushu, a martial art form, and engaged us in exciting training sessions. She not only explained the basics but also organized games and practical activities. Her session emphasized discipline, coordination, and fitness, while also giving us important tips and techniques.

3. Mr. Vijendra Singh – Wushu Coach, Sports Authority of India, Patna
In the final session, he conducted a highly engaging and valuable training on self-defense and physical fitness. He clarified our doubts, demonstrated practical self-defense techniques, and emphasized their importance in real-life situations, particularly for women’s safety.

After a short lunch break, the sessions resumed with equal energy and enthusiasm. Each coach ensured that the students gained 100% clarity and practical understanding of the activities. The entire day was not only informative but also interactive, motivating us to adopt sports and fitness practices in our daily lives.

This marked the first day of our two-day sports trip. We are scheduled to continue our training and activities on the second day (25th September 2025), which we are eagerly looking forward to.

The first day concluded with a sense of learning, empowerment, and gratitude towards the coaches and teachers who guided us throughout. The sports trip to Moin-ul-Haq Stadium, SAI Patna has already proven to be a memorable and inspiring experience, and we are excited for what lies ahead tomorrow.
