World Mental Health Day 2025

World Mental Health Day 2025

On the eve of World Mental Health Day, the NSS Unit of Patna Women’s College under Sehat Kendra organized a Slogan Writing Competition on the inspiring theme “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures.” The event was held at the Open Air Stage Hall from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, and witnessed active participation from NSS volunteers.

The competition aimed to promote awareness about the significance of mental health and overall well-being as the cornerstone of a happy and hopeful life. It encouraged students to express their thoughts creatively and to highlight how a healthy start—physically, mentally, and emotionally—leads to a better future for all.

A total of 15 groups participated enthusiastically, presenting original and impactful slogans that reflected the theme’s essence. The participants beautifully portrayed the connection between wellness, optimism, and a fulfilling future through their words and creativity.

The competition was judged by Dr. Nupur and Dr. Amrita, who evaluated the entries based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and presentation.

The event was graced by the presence of Program Officers Dr. Jyoti Chandra and Dr. Brahmanand, whose guidance and encouragement added great value to the programme. Their active involvement inspired the volunteers to participate with enthusiasm and dedication.

The event concluded with words of appreciation for all participants and acknowledgment of their efforts in making the competition a success. Overall, the activity fostered teamwork, creativity, and awareness among NSS volunteers, reinforcing the powerful message that “Healthy beginnings today lead to hopeful futures tomorrow.”
