Extempore Competition 2025

September 11, 2025, an Extempore Competition was organized to test students’ spontaneity and public speaking abilities. The event was initiated by Assistant Professor Mr. Siddhant Parashar, who explained the format to participants. Twenty-eight students from both departments randomly selected topics on nutrition, health, and lifestyle and delivered two-minute speeches. The competition was judged by Dr. Shobha Srivastava from the Department of Zoology, Dr. Pinky Prasad from the Department of Botany, and Dr. Jaya Philip from the Department of Microbiology, who assessed speeches based on content quality, delivery, and confidence. Adeeba Kulsum from B.Sc. Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics (Semester I) secured first position, followed by her classmate Aiman Ali in second place. Sadhana Kumari from B.A. Home Science (Semester III) took third place, while Pratibha from M.A. Home Science (Semester I) received the consolation prize. The event successfully built communication skills and knowledge regarding health nutrition and life style among the participants.
