Speech competition 2025
On 12th July 2025 the Department of Sociology in collaboration with Department of Psychology, Patna Women’s College ( Autonomous), Patna University organised speech competition on the topic ” Exploring Gender Population Dynamics” on the occasion of World Population Day for semester 5 students. A total of 24 students participated from both the departments giving an impactful speech and creating awareness among the audience. Speeches were delivered both in Hindi and English. The speeches were evaluated by a panel of esteemed judges – Dr. Tapashi Bhattacharjee Head department of Sociology, Dr. Nupur Sinha Head Department of Psychology and Dr. Mridula Mishra Head Department of social work. The judges were highly impressed and appreciated the confidence and vision displayed by the students. The first position was secured Saeeda Zainab (Department of Psychology) second position was secured by Soni (Department of Sociology) and third position was secured by Muskan from department of Sociology and also consolation prize was given to Komal Kumari and Alisha Verma from department of Sociology. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mantasha Rehman department of Sociology and Shikha Dhananjani department of Psychology.
