An Exhibition-cum-Model competition

An Exhibition-cum-Model competition was organized in the Department of Psychology, Patna Women’s College on the occasion of World Mental Health Day’25 on 10th October at 10:00 AM. The event was conducted under the guidance of Respected Principal, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C. and supervision of Dr. Nupur Sinha, Head, Department of Psychology, Patna Women’s College. The primary objective was to promote awareness, understanding, and dialogue about mental health, particularly in our local community.

The event was inaugurated by respected Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C., Vice Principal, Patna Women’s College, along with Dr. Vinita Kochgaway, Retired Assistant Professor, Patna Women’s College. The judging panel consisted of respected academicians: Dr. Priyadarshini Narain (Retired Head, PG Department of Psychology, Patna University), Dr. Jai Deo Mangal (Professor and Head, Department of Psychology, College of Commerce, Arts and Science, Patliputra University), and Dr. Farhat Zabin (Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, Patna Women’s College).

A total of 11 creative models were presented by students from UG 2nd and 3rd year and PG Ist and 2nd year.

The results of the competition were as follows:

First Position: “Stigma Wall” by Nadia and group

Second Position: “Green Flag” by Sukriti and group

Third Position: “Emotion Wheel” by Riya and group.
There were many activities displayed by the students, like an affirmation mirror, photo corner, happiness board, pinnata, and music booth. Many teachers and students from different departments visited and appreciated the Exhibition.
