Caferia, a workshop on selling skills of food

Cafeteria a workshop to give hands on training in quantity cooking and selling, was organised by the Department of Home Science on 14th of October 2025 . The venue of the cafeteria was Room no 28. 6 Students from Semester III (P.G.) and Semester V (U.G.) participated in this activity. The menu of the Cafeteria was Pav Bhaji and Dahi bada. Standardised recipes were used to prepare the food items so that the quality and quantity of the food remained consistent. Good hygiene was maintained while preparing the food. Excellent quality food at affordable prices as compared to commercial outlets were prepared and served on the campus. The food was relished by the teaching and non teaching staff as well as the students. The activity was a huge success and was highly appreciated by the students and staff. The program was organized under the supervision of Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C., Head, Department of Home Science.The Cafeteria was executed by the students under the guidance of Dr. Sunita Kumari, Assistant Professor, Department of Home Science.
