On January 28th, 2026, the Department of Physics, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University organised a Quiz Competition on the theme “India After Independence – Scientific and Economic Progress”, celebrating the journey of our nation through knowledge, curiosity, and intellectual engagement. The event encouraged students to explore India’s remarkable achievements in science, technology, and economic development while reflecting on the challenges that shaped our progress. The participants were highly enthusiastic and confident, attempting each question with interest and clarity. Their smart responses and active involvement made the quiz lively and engaging throughout.
During this event, students from Semester II (UG & PG) and Semester IV (UG & PG) actively participated in the competition. In addition, one group from Semester VI also took part. Altogether, there were nine groups participating in the quiz competition.
Based on their outstanding performance, the winning teams were:
First position: Kritika and the group
Second position: Anshu Sharma and the group
Third position: Vaishanvi and the group
The winners were awarded Certificates of Appreciation for their excellent performance in the quiz competition.
The judge for the event was Dr. Amrita, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, Patna Women’s College.
