On 13th February 2026, the Department of Social Work, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University, organized an outreach activity to Adalat Ganj Slum, Patna, as part of its Field Work Activity and the P.A.C.E. (Personal Advancement and Career Enhancement) Programme, in collaboration with Social Warrior Foundation, Patna.
During the visit, students conducted interactive, child-centered learning sessions for primary school children, introducing alphabets, numbers, and rhymes through activity-based methods that fostered joyful and participatory learning. The initiative provided meaningful field exposure, strengthening students’ skills in communication, community engagement, and child-centered facilitation, while deepening their understanding of grassroots realities and enhancing their capacity to design and implement need-based educational interventions.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Mridul Mishra, Head, Department of Social Work, and Mr. Puneet Kumar Tiwari,Volunteer, Social Warrior Foundation, Patna.
