The Department of Commerce, Patna Women’s College, Autonomous, organized a Career Guidance Programme on “ACCA: Pathways to High-Paying Careers in Multinational Companies” on 12th February 2026 at 12 p.m. in the Video Conferencing Hall and Room No. 406, (Science Block) for the students of B. Com (Hons.) Accounting & Finance and B. Com (Hons.) Commerce Professional. ACCA- The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants is a UK based global professional accounting body offering a qualification for careers in Finance, Audit and Taxation. The resource person, Mrs. Sukhpreet Monga, Auditing and Tax Consultant (Outsourcing Service Provider, ACCA, CA, CPA and CGA Canada), Head Faculty, Plutus Education, Noida, shared insights on career opportunities through the ACCA qualifications and highlighted the importance of skills such as IFRS and Advanced Excel in enhancing global careers in multinational companies. She also addressed queries related to employability prospects in India and abroad along with the relevance of accounting professionals in an AI-driven world. The session was interactive and informative, providing students with valuable career guidance regarding their academic pathways.It was conducted in virtual mode.
