The Department of Computer Applications (MCA) organized Pre-Ojaswani Departmental Competitions on “Pot Painting Competition” on 06th March 2026 as part of the International Women’s Day Celebration “ओजस्विनी 2026.” The event was conducted for the students of PGDCA Semester–II, Session: 2025–2026 with the objective of promoting creativity, teamwork, and awareness on important social themes. The theme of the competition was “Gender Inclusivity.” Through this theme, students were encouraged to express ideas that promote equality, respect, and opportunities for all genders. The theme highlighted the importance of building a society where every individual, regardless of gender, is valued and given equal opportunities.
A total of three groups consisting of eight students participated in the competition. The participants worked collaboratively in their respective groups to transform simple earthen pots into artistic creations reflecting the theme of gender inclusivity. Their artwork beautifully conveyed messages of harmony, equality, and social awareness. The competition was judged by Dr. Bhawna Sinha, Dean IT & Head, Department of Computer Applications (MCA) and Mr. B.K. Prasad, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications (MCA)

The event was conducted successfully under the guidance of Ms. Sushmita Chakraborty Coordinator, PGDCA and Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications (MCA) She appreciated the enthusiastic participation and creative efforts of the students. Overall, the Pot Painting Competition was a meaningful and engaging activity that contributed significantly to the celebration of International Women’s Day “ओजस्विनी 2026.”
