The Department of English Communication and Media at Patna Women’s College organised a film workshop on Monday at Carmel Hall, featuring filmmaker Shruti Anindita Varma. During the session, she highlighted the importance of logic in storytelling, emphasizing that every storyline must have a clear and meaningful foundation.
Students from Semesters II, IV, and VI participated in an interactive activity where they worked in groups to develop storylines and screenplays that highlighted the positive aspects of Bihar while challenging common stereotypes.
The workshop was organised under the guidance of Dr. Tauseef Hasan, Head of the Department of English Communication and Media, and Dr. Runa, along with other faculty members of the department, who were also present during the session.
The workshop concluded with students presenting their ideas and receiving feedback from the filmmaker, making the session an enriching learning experience.
