NSS Special Camp 2026
Day 1 (10th March 2026)
Theme : Youth for Clean, Green and Healthy INDIA
The NSS Unit of Patna Women’s College successfully commenced the NSS Special Camp 2026 on 10th March 2026 at Carmel Hall with great enthusiasm and active participation from NSS volunteers.
The day began with the Inaugural Function from 9:30 am. The programme was graced by Chief Guest Prof. Suheli Mehta, NSS Coordinator, Patna University and Dr. Sister Celine Crasta A.C., Head, Department of History, Patna Women’s College. They addressed the volunteers and motivated them to play an active role in building a clean, green and healthy India through dedication, environmental awareness, and community service.
Following the inaugural session, the first activity session (11:00 am – 12:00 noon) featured a “ Best out of Waste – Dustbin Making” competition. A total of 12 groups participated in this activity. NSS volunteers creatively used waste materials to design eco-friendly dustbins, promoting the importance of recycling and proper waste management. ♻️🌿
After the lunch break, the second session (1:00 pm – 3:00 pm) was organized as a Poster Making Competition on the topic “Youth Idea of Clean and Healthy India.” A total of 9 groups participated in this poster competition. The participants expressed their innovative ideas through colorful posters highlighting cleanliness, environmental protection, and healthy living.
The first day of the camp was inspiring and productive, encouraging NSS volunteers to adopt sustainable practices and actively contribute to society in line with the theme “Youth for Clean, Green and Healthy INDIA.”
