The students perspectives included fresher Anushika who shared her journey within the club, while Palak Verma motivated the audience by reflecting on the power of words, concluding with Samuel Johnson’s famous quote “Language is the dress of thought”.

Dr. Sinha utilized real-life examples to demonstrate how human biases are often “engraved” into AI algorithms. She challenged the students to think critically about the ethical considerations of AI, emphasizing that while technology is a powerful tool, it must be monitored to prevent the reinforcement of social prejudices.

The programme concluded with a vibrant Q&A session, allowing students to engage directly with Dr. Sinha on the future of ethical AI. The event was coordinated by Dr. Devina Krishna, Coordinator of the Lexicon Language Club, and closed with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by Muskan.
