Bal Mitra NGO organized a vibrant community event in Phulwari Sharif, Patna, under the NALSA ASHA Scheme 2025, promoting the “100 Divas Child Marriage Free Bharat Abhiyan” (November 27, 2025 – March 8, 2026).
Event Highlights:
The gathering featured dynamic discussions led by key speaker Mr. Suresh, alongside block officers and numerous Anganwadi women supervisors.
Participants, including the students of the dept. of Data Science and Analytics from Patna Women’s College, shared opinions on halting child marriages and raising awareness about their severe consequences, such as education loss, and legal penalties under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act.
Anganwadi mahilas emphasized grassroots education for families, while officers highlighted government support through shelters and legal aid via NALSA ASHA.

Attendees unanimously pledged to eradicate child marriage locally, committing to school campaigns, village rallies, and door-to-door counselling.
