The Department of Psychology at Patna Women’s College organised an enriching and intellectually timulating workshop on “Leadership Effectiveness in Organization” on 2nd April 2026. The session was conducted by Dr. Pallawi Ambreesh Kumar, Head, Department of Business Administration, Patna Women’s College, whose expertise and engaging style made the session both insightful and memorable. Mam initiated the discussion with a short movie clip. This served as a powerful entry point into the topic, prompting reflection on how leadership operates in chaotic and high-pressure situations. The discussion that followed centred around decision-making, responsibility, and the far-reaching impact a leader’s actions can have on others. During the session, case studies were given to the students to reflect upon and discuss leadership characteristics. The students were divided into five groups, and each group was given two situational questions. These questions presented multiple options (A, B, C, D), requiring the groups to analyse the situations and decide on the most appropriate course of action from a leadership perspective. This exercise encouraged collaboration, critical thinking, and practical application of the concepts discussed throughout the session.
Overall, the workshop was highly engaging, thought-provoking, and informative.
