The Department of Fashion Designing, Patna Women’s College, Patna visited ‘Craft Bazar and Spectrum – 2026’, an artisan awareness workshop and demonstration programme of students talent on 12th and 14th March, 2026 organized by NIFT, Patna. It was an Exhibition-cum-sale & confluence of exquisite Indian handlooms and handicrafts where variety of crafts were demonstrated.
Students of BAFD, SEM-II & SEM-IV attended the celebration, gaining significant insights into traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design.
The visit aimed to provide students with direct exposure to Indian heritage crafts. It encouraged them to explore new concepts for integrating traditional techniques into modern product development to create unique, culturally-rooted designs.
