The Department of Education, Patna Women’s College Autonomous celebrated World Heritage Day on 18th April 2026 to promote awareness about cultural heritage among student-teachers.
A special lecture on “Jantar Mantar: Monumenting the Heritage of Indian Panchangas” was delivered by Dr. Prabhas Ranjan. He highlighted the significance of Jantar Mantar and its role in traditional Indian calendars.
The programme was informative and engaging, encouraging students to value and preserve heritage and integrate it into their teaching practices.
