NSS – NARI SHAKTI VANDAN RUN

The students of Patna Women’s College along with NSS volunteers of Patna Women’s College actively participated in a National Fun Run organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS), Government of India, on the theme ‘Nari Shakti Vandan’. The event was held at Marine Drive, near the Railway Bridge, at 6:00 AM, creating an energetic and refreshing atmosphere for all participants. The run covered a distance of 2 kilometres, starting from the Marine Drive Railway Bridge and ending 1 kilometre before the LCT Ghat. The program aimed to promote awareness about women empowerment along with encouraging physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle among youth. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Ms. Shreyasi Singh, Minister for Information Technology and Sports, Government of Bihar, whose presence inspired and motivated all participants. NSS volunteers of Patna Women’s College showed great enthusiasm and actively took part in the run, reflecting their commitment towards social responsibility and national development. The event was conducted under the guidance and supervision of the NSS Program Officers, Dr. Jyoti Chandra Ma’am from the( Department of Chemistry) and Dr. Brahmanand Sir from the( Department of Hindi), whose support ensured the smooth organization of the program. After the successful completion of the run, all participants were awarded certificates as a token of appreciation. Overall, the event was highly successful and impactful, spreading a strong message of women empowerment while fostering unity, discipline, and fitness among the youth.
