A spectacular welcome awaited the incoming batch of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning students as Fresher’s Day 2025 unfolded with unmatched enthusiasm and vibrant energy. This much-awaited celebration of new beginnings was a true spectacle of creativity, culture, and camaraderie. The event began with the eloquent voices of our student anchors, whose warmth and confidence created an atmosphere of joy and excitement. The festivities opened on a spiritual note with a prayer dance performance set to the soulful tune of
“Swagatam”, offering a serene invocation and symbolizing the inclusive ethos of our college. The air then echoed with music as a group song medley, featuring youthful anthems like “Give Me Some Sunshine,” “Ek Zindagi Meri,” and “Kudi Nu Nachne De,” infused the room with dreams, determination, and celebration. A heartfelt poetic recitation titled “Freshers Wali Coding Kahani”, penned and performed by Vijaya Mishra, added depth and laughter to the evening. Her words captured the rollercoaster journey of a budding coder, leaving the audience nodding in agreement and smiling in reflection. The stage then sparkled with a peppy retro dance performance, setting a lively throwback vibe. This was followed by a moving solo singing act that powerfully reminded everyone that true joy and self-worth can never be bought. A creative high point was reached with a brilliantly imaginative skit titled “AI in the Age of Akbar”, blending historical grandeur with modern-day tech in a humorous and thought-provoking narrative. The cultural showcase continued with an elegant semi-classical dance, where the rhythm of tradition met the grace of youth. As the evening drew to a close, the anchors offered a heartfelt vote of thanks, concluding with a short and touching poem to express gratitude to every individual who made the day a success. The celebration was graced by esteemed judges Dr. Manjula Sushila and Ms. Amrita Prakash, along with student council member Ms. Anushka Deo. Faculty members from the Departments of Data Science and Analytics, MCA, and our very own AI & ML department. The event also witnesses the appreciation and encouragement extended by Ms. Poonam Abraham Lakra, Head of the department. Finally, the crowning jewel of the evening was the announcement of Miss Fresher 2025, a moment that shimmered with applause and pride as the title was awarded to Ms. Vijaya Mishra, whose brilliance, charm, and confidence lit up the stage. Fresher’s Day 2025 was not just a celebration, but a heartfelt welcome—a blend of talent, emotion, and innovation that painted a hopeful beginning for the journeys that lie ahead.
