Patna Women’s College witnessed a vibrant and energetic flashmob performance during the cultural extravaganza VIRASAT 2024. The event was sponsored by the Bihar State AIDS Control Society (BSACS), aiming to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS through the powerful medium of dance and public performance. The flashmob was strategically organized in the college premises, catching the audience by surprise and quickly gathering an enthusiastic crowd. The performers, comprising talented students from various departments and members of the Natraj Nritya Club, danced to a medley of upbeat songs that highlighted themes of health awareness, empowerment, and social responsibility. The primary objective of the flashmob was to break the stigma around HIV/AIDS and promote messages of safe practices, acceptance, and support. Dancers wore coordinated costumes and used placards and visual cues to communicate the campaign’s core messages effectively. The performance was met with loud cheers and applause, reflecting its success in engaging the audience emotionally and intellectually.
