The *Natraj Nritya club* of Patna Women’s College ( Autonomous) , Patna University, Organized it’s orientation programme on October 10th, 2025 to welcome and acquidant the new members with the club’s objective, values, and upcoming initiatives.
The event was graced by Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas, Club Coordinator and Ms. Komal Kumari, Co-coordinator and was moderated by Ms. Parnoshree Jati, Club Secretary programme began with the watering of the plant , symbolizing the growth and new beginnings, followed by a prayer dance invoking divine blessings for the session ahead.
In her address, Ms. Enakshi Dey Biswas introduced the club and emphasized its vision of fostering creativity, discipline, and teamwork through dance. Ms. Komal Kumari elaborated on the club’s vision, mission , activities and introduced the Core Committee comprising President Ms. Palak, Secretary Ms. Parnoshree, and Treasurer Ms. Anjali.
A special talk on “Dance and Society”: Cultural Identity through Movement” which was delivered by Ms. Kriti Rani lecturer Performing Arts, highlighting dance as a medium for preserving and expressing cultural heritage. The programme also featured vibrant folk dance performances on chhath puja and Sama Chakeva celebrating Bihar’s rich traditions.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Anjali Gupta Treasurer, Natraj Nritya club, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and faculty members. The programme was efficiently coordinated by Vaishnavi, Jt. Cultural Secretary, Student Council (2025–26).
The Orientation Programme marked a successful beginning to the club’s new journey, reflecting the spirit of unity, creativity, and cultural expression that defines the Natraj Nritya Club.
