The Department of Economics, Patna Women’s College, celebrated its Departmental Freshers’ Day with great enthusiasm and warmth on 23 July 2026.
The programme commenced with a graceful Prayer Dance, led by Roli Rajvanshi and team, beautifully portraying devotion and India’s rich cultural heritage. This was followed by a serene prayer song rendered by Nishika Basu .A hindi song Medley, presented by Ashleen and team, captivated the audience with its soulful performance.
The celebration continued with a heartfelt Poetry Recitation by Aarushi Thakur.
The audience was then treated to a thought-provoking Skit, led by Amrita and team, which conveyed a meaningful message through an engaging performance. The programme concluded with an energetic Pop Dance, performed by Vibhanshi and team, leaving the audience spellbound and earning immense appreciation from everyone present.
The event was graced by Mrs. Manisha Prasad, Head, Department of Computer Science, and Dr. Sumeet Ranjan, Head, Department of Zoology. The celebration was successfully organized under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Zareen Fatima, Head, Department of Economics.
The Departmental Freshers’ Day served as a wonderful platform to welcome the new students, foster camaraderie, and celebrate the talents and vibrant spirit of the Economics Department.
