The Department of Geography, Patna Women’s College, celebrated its Departmental Freshers’ Day with great enthusiasm and warmth on 22nd July, 2026.
The programme began with a graceful Prayer Dance, setting a serene tone for the celebration, followed by a melodious welcome Song. This was followed by a heartfelt Poetry Recitation, after which the audience was treated to a beautiful Semi-Classical Dance performance. The celebration continued with two spirited western dance performances, which had the audience thoroughly enthralled and received immense appreciation from everyone present.
The event was graced by the presence of the cultural committee members, Dr. Jaya Philip and Ms. Anisha Singh. The celebration was held under the leadership of Dr. Amrita Choudhury, Head, Department of Geography.
