Patna, August 10, 2026: The Department of English Communication and Media, Patna Women’s College, organised the 24th edition of its annual media quiz ‘Quizzical 2026’, bringing together students from different semesters and department centred on different aspects of world media, such as press, films, music, TV,OTT platforms, and current affairs.
The quiz was conducted by faculty member and Quizmaster, Mr Frank Krishner, who led the participants through a series of round comprising different set of rules.
The event follow a distinctive selection format the top 11 teams that included five wild card entries. The final round followed two semi-finalist of five teams each. Two leading teams from each of the semi-finals qualified for the final round. Swati Suman , Department of English ,semester 5,Sakshi Kri, Department of Political Science, semester 1 and Farhia Reyazi , Department of BBA, semester 1 emerged as the winner of Quizzical 2026, while Simran Kumari , Department of Economics, semester 5, Shanti Priya ,Department of Geography, semester 3 and Harshita Mishra, Department of ECM, semester 1 secured the first-runner-up position. Both teams were recognised for their performance.
The event concluded with the participants being felicitated for their performance, marking another successful edition of the department’s regular academic and co-curricular quiz.
