On 17 August 2026, the UG Semester III students of Physics Department, Patna Women’s College undertook an educational visit to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Patna, accompanied by Assistant Professor Mr. Dharmendra Rai.
During the visit, Shri Ashish Kumar, Scientist D, along with other scientists of IMD Patna, explained various aspects of meteorological instrumentation such as temperature, pressure, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall.
The interactive session helped the students connect their theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
