The Department of Botany observed Anti Ragging Week from 27th August to 2nd September 2026 with awareness activities aimed at creating a safe environment in the college campus.
The week commenced with the screening of a documentary video on anti-ragging on 27/08/2026. The film emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline within the academic community. It also highlighted the consequences of ragging.On 29/08/2026.
Poster making and Slogan writing competition was organized for Semester I, II and V . Students presented their thoughts on ragging free campus through their creative posters. Total 8 group for poster and 4 group for Slogan writing participated. . Best three posters and Slogan were selected on the basis of originality, clarity of idea and presentation.
Students of Semester I pledged their commitment to a ragging-free environment by filling out the Anti-Ragging Affidavit form on 01/09/2026.
Together through these activities, the Department pledged its commitment for building a campus that respects and safeguards the dignity of each life.
