Anti-Ragging Week 2026: Promoting awareness, respect, and a safer campus

The Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics organized Anti-Ragging Week (27th August- 2nd September 2026) with the objective of creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of ragging and promoting a safe, respectful, inclusive, and student-friendly academic environment. As part of the observance, various awareness-oriented activities such as documentary movie screening, Anti-ragging awareness quiz and online submission of anti-ragging affidavits were conducted to sensitize students about the importance of maintaining dignity, mutual respect, and harmonious relationships within the institution.

  1. Documentary Movie Screening

Documentary Movie Screening was done on the occasion of Anti-Ragging Week on 27.08.2026 at 11A.M. in Room No. 53 (CND-2) and Room No. 54 (CND-1). The session was attended by 26 students, UG semester I and 15 students, UG semester III.  The documentary highlighted the serious physical, emotional, psychological, and social consequences of ragging. It helped students understand the importance of empathy, responsible behaviour, and the role of every student in preventing ragging on the campus. The screening also emphasized the need to foster a positive and supportive environment where every student feels safe and respected. 

  • Anti Ragging Awareness Quiz

As part of the observance of Anti-Ragging Week, Anti-ragging awareness quiz was organized by Department of Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics on 29.08.2026 at 1PM in Room No. 53, a total of 25 students actively participated in the quiz. The quiz was conducted to enhance students’ knowledge regarding ragging, its consequences, preventive measures, and the importance of maintaining a ragging-free educational environment. Students participated enthusiastically and demonstrated their awareness and understanding of the issue.

  • Anti-ragging affidavit online form filling

Anti-ragging affidavit online form-filling activity was conducted for the students of UG Sem I on 1st September 2026. The students were guided through the process of completing and submitting the online affidavit, thereby sensitizing them to their responsibilities and reinforcing their commitment to upholding the institution’s anti-ragging policies and maintaining a safe and respectful campus environment.
