The Department of Geography, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), organised a two-day exhibition titled “Cultural Atlas of India” on 18 and 19 September 2026. The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of Principal, Dr. Sister M. Tanisha A.C.; Vice-Principal, Dr. Sister M. Celine Crasta A.C.; Dr. Sister M. Jincy A.C., Superior, Avila Convent; the Head of the Department of Geography; esteemed faculty members; and students. The programme was graced by Dr. Aldina Perpetua Braganza, Officiating Principal, Mount Carmel College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Nuvem, Goa, along with her team.
A total of 12 models were prepared and presented by the students of UG Semester V, showcasing India’s rich cultural landscape through a vibrant display of regional traditions, cultural practices and geographical representations of different states.
The exhibition was organised as a part of the department’s experiential learning initiative, providing students with an opportunity to move beyond conventional classroom learning. The exhibition received enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
