On 21st September 2026, the Social Work Club “SAMARTH”, in collaboration with the Department of Social Work, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University, organised an Orientation Programme and Interactive Session at MVEIC Hall.
The programme began with the felicitation of the Resource Person, Ms. Richa Rajput Mrigank, Social Entrepreneur and Secretary, Pothipatri Foundation, Patna. Dr. Mridul Mishra, Coordinator, Social Work Club “SAMARTH”, presented her with a plant sapling as a token of gratitude and delivered the Welcome Address.
The Resource Person spoke on the significance of Social Work and career opportunities in the field, followed by an engaging interaction with the students.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Mridul Mishra and moderated by Anamika, Student President, social work club and concluded with the Vote of Thanks. All the members of club and faculty members of the Department of Social Work, including Dr. Chandramani Piyush, Head, department of social work and Ms. Amrita Ashish, Assistant Professor, were present for the event.
The session provided students with greater awareness of the scope of Social Work and encouraged them to explore meaningful career opportunities in the field.
