The Department of Statistics, Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), organised a Parent–Teacher Meet for the undergraduate students of Semesters I, III, V and VII on 07.102026 in Video conferencing room, Science Block.
The meeting was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Moon, Head of the Department, along with faculty members Dr. Nishtha Bhardwaj, Ms. Monika Rashmi and Mr. Dhruv Kumar Jyoti. The objective of the meet was to strengthen the bond of communication between parents and teachers and to support the academic and holistic development of every student.
The faculty members shared detailed feedback on students’ academic progress, attendance, classroom performance, discipline and participation in departmental, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Internal assessment and mid-semester performance were also discussed, giving parents a transparent view of their wards’ strengths and areas for improvement.
Parents were encouraged to share their observations, concerns and suggestions, which offered the faculty valuable insights into the needs of the students. They also appreciated the department’s supportive teaching–learning environment, the dedication of the faculty and the continuous mentoring provided to the students.
The Parent–Teacher Meet concluded on a positive and encouraging note, with a shared commitment between parents and teachers to guide students towards academic excellence, sound values and all-round personal growth. The Department of Statistics reaffirmed the importance of regular and open communication with parents, and expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the parents for their presence, cooperation and trust.
